A SMART HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM juggles a variety of different tasks. Pioneered by a CEPro, it’s able to control light fixtures, adjust thermostats, provide status of electricity consumption, distribute media & data as well as handle other complex subsystems integrated with home automation systems.

An automated smart home, consists at least a few subsystems within the automation system. The electronic hardware is what we refers to as “subsystems”. Integrating all the subsystems involves addition of hardware & programmed software. These systems, which looks like a black box tucked into an equipment rack, alongside the automation processor in a utility room or closet, are the backbone of your whole system. After an input from the handheld remote, touch panel, smartphone, motion sensor, your voice, or some other trigger device, an automation system communicates to the processor of the subsystem, which in turn carries out the desired functions to make your space look or feel or sound like you want it to.

Most home automation systems are very brand-specific when it comes to the types of subsystems they can control. Many of the today’s brands are mostly compatible with most subsystems out there but not all are compatible with every manufacturer device in the market anyhow that’s the job of the Home Integrator /CEPro to find the best products available for the application and connect them together into a seamlessly operating smart home for your needs. We Know what works best with what!!

If you have any questions or concerns about a designed system’s capabilities, WE are HAPPY to HELP !!!

These are some subsystems that make up a basic smart home:

LIGHTING

Most popular & practical of all automation subsystems, lighting control system enables all types of light sources to be dimmed and brightened to prescribed levels to achieve :

  1. Greater energy savings
  2. Provide visual interest by changing color
  3. Enhance security, and set the mood for occasions.

Managed by a home automation system, home’s lights can be synchronized with other subsystems. This provides limitless possibilities.

SECURITY

WHY would you have security integrated to your home automation system?

  • Convenience being one major benefit.
  • You’ll be able to view the status of the security system, arm and disarm sensors, and even view real-time images captured by surveillance cameras.
  • Enact certain automation routines. For example, sensors that are intended to trigger an alarm when they detect motion can also activate a pathway of lights.
  • You can do all of this whether you’re at home or away at work, vacation, or anywhere else. Being able to remotely access your security system—and all the devices connected to it—provides valuable peace of mind.

AUDIO AND VIDEO

When a home’s audio and video components are managed and controlled by an automation system on cue from an automation system, music can travel from equipment in a media room to speakers throughout the house, or to just a few specific rooms that you select. Same goes for video to TVs.

Browse your entire library of media conveniently from your same tablet, phone, or touch panel that is used to operate the other electronic subsystems in your house. Access streaming music services, stored library of songs from iTunes, a computer, or even a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device. As for video, control cable and satellite TV services, Blu-ray Disc players, media servers, and streaming services like Netflix. Don’t worry all of this will be a central unit located in one room where you want it. We’ll build a beautiful Rack for all your equipment for you if need be.

One touch of a button can create the perfect ambiance for a dinner party, a romantic evening at home, or a festive gathering of friends in the backyard.

HEATING AND COOLING

Your house temperature can adjust automatically and in sync with your daily routine. Schedule thermostat adjustments, by integrating your heating and cooling system with an automation system.

True for homes that have multiple thermostats, rather than program each thermostat individually, a home automation system lets you regulate them. Monitor the temperature of each heating and cooling zone and adjust from your control device. Or adjust it automatically based on certain conditions.

OTHER SUBSYSTEMS

When working with a home systems professional to design and install an automation system, Consider these integration-worthy components:

Swimming Pool and Spa systems
Motorized Gates
Electronic Door Locks
Garage Doors
Motorized equipment (drapes, TVs, theater screens, video projectors)
Irrigation systems

Your Consumer Electronics pro can recommend the right type of network for your home and the scope of the installation … plus ensure that your house will be able to handle any smart systems and products you might add later in the future.
